Welcome to The History Museum!
Established in 1998, the History Museum of East Otter Tail County is located in Perham, Minnesota in the heart of the west central lakes area. Displays tell the stories of the people, places and events of the area through interpretive exhibits, photographs, and original motion picture footage. Open to the public, the History Museum is housed in a beautiful historic stone structure.
About Our Organization
The History Museum of East Otter Tail County is operated by the 501c3 nonprofit History, Arts & Cultural Association of East Otter Tail County (HACA) with a goal to unite humanities, art, community and culture. HACA also operates the In Their Own Words Veterans Museum as well as the East Otter Tail Historical Society and Perham Pioneer Village. The Pioneer Village offers space for rent for your special event.The mission of the The History Museum of East Otter Tail County is to preserve the past for future generations.
The mission of the Perham Pioneer Village and East Otter Tail Historical Society is to share Pioneer Village historical and present-day treasures through events and exhibits.
The mission of the History, Arts & Cultural Association is to unite humanities, art, community and culture.
